My Autobiography

    Hi everyone!! I'm Shalom from "the common life of science student". I was born on December 27th 2001 in a public hospital of Santiago, Chile. My mom was in labor for 3 days so I supose I didn't want to come to the world -ooppss- 

    In my childhood I constantly moved so I went to nine different schools.  In the last of them I stayed for six years, in that school I discovered my passion for biology, series, folklore dance and acting. In my last four years of "enseñanza media" I thought I will study something associated to medicine but the destiny don't want that. In 2019 the year of "estallido social" in Chile I did the PSU (university selection test) and the mathematical test 3 times!! That was so exhausted.. finally I enter to “Universidad de Chile”  on pedagogy in biology and chemistry, I don't regret because pedagogy allows me to develop social skills and help children and teenagers to found their path in the world and understand the changes of growing.

    Speaking of growing, I grown in different houses, but always with my mom Patricia, my sister Amaral and my “hermane” Andy, I love them. I have a beautiful relationship with Andy, their is so special and my favorite person in the world. They have a lot of talent in so many things and is very kind with everyone, I admire them. If I mencionate my family members I must include my pets, the older one is my boxer dog Pancho, he has the name of my dead grandfather, we say that they have the same face. My other pet is a black cat called Armin, for attack on titans, he is a fancy cat. The last one is my beautifull and grumpy little cat called Lili, she is so tiny and cute. 

    In my free time I enjoy to spend time with my cats or my boyfriend Nicolás, he is the love of my life (reference of Queen). Also I love to watch series, I mostly prefer to watch them alone but now I’m watching “how I meet you mother” with him and my best friend Valentina, they are brothers, yes I now! I seduced the brother of my friend! but I swear it was not on purpose. And now I learn to weave, maybe in the future I will spoke more about that.

    Hi Shalom! It is the first time I read that a person was 9 different schools. I hope it hasn't been such a difficult process. A hug!

My Favorite Piece of Technology

 Hi everyone! Shalom again. Today we're going to talk about technology, specifically my favorite pieces of technology, my iPad and my cellphone. It is difficult for me to choose one of them because I use both equally.  I use my iPad for so many things, I study and take notes in class, and in my free time, I watch a lot of series with it. On the other hand, I use my cellphone for watching series too, but I also use it to check Instagram and WhatsApp groups, take photos of nature, my pets or beautiful things like the sky in the sunset, and in the metro or micro, I generally use Spotify to listen to a playlist depending on the mood or a podcast called "weona que creici", I love those guys! They make my boring activities more fun. I think I'm very dependent on my cellphone and my iPad because I have my entire life on them and I use them all the time. A Photograph I Like

  Hi everyone!! It's me again. Today I want to talk about one of my favorite photos of this year <3. This photo was taken by my best friend Valentina on March 8, 2023, during the march of Women's Day. I love this photo because when I see it again, I feel the euphoria that I felt that day. It was my first march in commemoration of Women's Day. It was a very beautiful and emotional day because, for the first time in my life, I felt secure and free around so many people. Usually, when I'm around a lot of people, like on the subway, I think of all possible scenarios in which something bad could happen to me, or I see all faces and the behavior of the people around me, those thoughts invade my head because I have anxiety, so to be in a place was I wasn't invaded by those thoughts was really wonderful and comforting.  In this photograph, you can see my friend Camila and me during the march when it began to get dark.
